This was a lovely place to visit, someplace to want to come again and again. There are many trails to take, your choice depending on the amount of time and energy you have. Guided tours were available; dogs were allowed on leash. If I lived in Santa Barbara, I would become a member.

The SBBG is the best around. Their focus on California natives is refreshing and the displays are always well designed and kept. Their bookstore is well stocked with great books and gifts for anyone who likes to garden or wants local information. It's a must see for visiting friends.
