And, I must add to the cons, dishonest bartenders. We actually caught them pulling a bait-and-switch on us, replacing the expensive scotch we'd ordered and had delivered in a dirty glass, with cheap swill. We were treated with stink eye…
Pros: lots of scotch whiskey, good traditional irish music on sund Cons: TERRIBLE service, confrontational bouncers, mediocre food

Dargan's Ventura is a great place to hang out. It's owned by the same guys that own the one is Santa Barbara. We are long time patrons of the SB location, but now I think I prefer the Ventura location.
