Of all the hotels on this list, Castillo Inn on the Beach may have the best location. This cute little hotel is very affordable, so I often stay here when I visit SB. It is just a short walk from the beach and a few blocks from downtown Santa Barbara. Just a step away from the beaches is the Harbor View Inn, but it is much closer to the city and is much more affordable than the other hotels on our list.
